Our General Medicine programme is a fully accredited, six-year MUDr. degree (Doctor of Medicine), delivered entirely in English and designed for motivated international students. You'll train at the Faculty of Medicine in Hradec Králové, part of the prestigious Charles University, with extensive clinical practice at the University Hospital Hradec Králové, one of the largest and most advanced medical centres in the Czech Republic.
Starting your medical education here means small study groups, modern technologies (virtual dissection tables, 3D scans, high-tech microscopes) and early patient contact in a supportive environment. You’ll also complete hands-on training in our cutting-edge Simulation Centre before beginning clinical rotations.

To join, you will take an English-language entrance exam covering Biology, Chemistry, and Physics/Maths (multiple-choice format), followed by an oral interview assessing your motivation and communication skills.
We admit up to 105 students into the General Medicine program each year.
